Ellis Paul at Camden Opera House in April

Yay Ellis Paul! Yay! Camden Opera House has Ellis Paul playing on April 5th at 7:30pm. Advance tickets available. $18. More info here.

Ellis Paul is a talented singer songwriter playing heartfelt folk songs, upbeat, catchy folk. Be warned, the lyrics will get ya. Beautiful songs. Really great melodies, moving vocals. He’s amazing. He’s great to sing along to at home or in the car. But he’s even better live.  And when I saw him play before at Slates in Hallowell I really liked his opener as well, which is always a plus.

Ellis Paul is a Mainer. You may have heard his songs in movie soundtracks. For example, “The World Ain’t Slowing Down” which was featured in that Jim Carrey movie, “Me, Myself & Irene .”

He also had his song “Sweet Mistakes” on the soundtrack for Shallow Hal

Some of my favorite songs by him are off his 2002 album “The Speed of Trees.” You can listen to him on Spotify. And I strongly encourage you to do so if you haven’t.

Chris Ross is opening! Yayyy! Read about him on my Listen Up! page.

With this team of amazing Maine musicians /songwriters you will not want to miss this show. Get tickets early.
