Upcoming events to mark on the ol’ calendar:

Mardi Gras dance party featuring The Crawdaddies Friday, Feb. 21,  7:30 p.m. at the Samoset Resort. Tickets are $20 in advance/ $25 at door. To reserve call 596-6055.

Enter the Haggis at Strand this Friday $15 advance tix. They may wear kilts when they play (No promises). But don’t let that scare you. It’s not punk music, but it’s not your typical folk music either – the world infusion sets them apart.
