So, I’m in Florida on vacation this week, but I thought I’d keep you all up to date on what there is to do in Rockland so you don’t miss any of the fun stuff coming your way.
Here’s what’s happening:
Karaoke at the Tiki Bar next door – Oh, wait, no, that’s what’s happening here. My bad. 😛
Ok, here’s what’s happening in cold, snowy Maine Monday 2/10/14:
Monday means Trivia night at Rock Harbor. Starts at 7pm. Study before you go. It’s tough!
Open Mic at Fog. Always a nice crowd and some good tunes. Happy Hour all night.
Monday Night Blues at the Time Out Pub starts up again this week after their Winter hiatus. There will be blues music every Monday from 7-10 pm. $10 or $15 cover, depending on the band. This week they have Junior Watson and the Matthew Stubbs Band – Excellent guitarist. $15 entry fee. Next Monday will be Juke Joint ($10). Click here to read up on the event & this week’s band on village soup (if you have a subscription).
A perk to this is if it’s Margarita Monday at TOP enjoy a $5 margarita! But luckily, if it’s not Margarita Monday at TOP, you can come in early and start your evening at Park St. Grille’s Happy Hour. 4-5:30pm and get a house margarita for half price! ($3!)
I’ll update with more events for this week soon. Sorry, got distracted by the beach.
I’ll give you a rundown of Valentine’s Day weekend events/specials as we get a little closer to the weekend. But take note now, there still tickets to see Rustic Overtones at Trackside on Friday. They are a fun band to see live. Wicked fun to dance to.
